Brooklyn Information & Culture (BRIC), a cultural and community leader in Brooklyn for more than 40 years, needed to reintroduce itself as a digital-first cultural powerhouse through a website relaunch.
Bellweather Agency developed a new data strategy through workshops and working sessions before handling design and development.
-
The ChallengeA sprawling legacy site
BRIC’s legacy site needed a transformation. With more than 5,000+ pages, the site had content and data siloed across multiple platforms and did not reflect Brooklyn’s arts and culture community.
The goal was to update BRIC’s video-led, community-focused legacy site into a mobile-first content platform.
-
The SolutionA new data strategy, built from workshops
Bellweather Agency ran workshops and working sessions with BRIC’s team to develop a new data strategy, then led design and development on WP Engine’s platform.
The agency designed a dynamic content platform that integrates video, making BRIC’s vast array of offerings easily accessible and engaging for a mobile-savvy audience. The new, user-friendly, accessible, and visually striking digital space prioritizes accessibility, improved navigation, and content.
The site earned three Webby nominations in the Websites and Mobile Sites category.
WP Engine, from our experience, has always been the fastest for these types of complex builds.
