Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) is a nonprofit organization at the forefront of new approaches to ending hunger and poverty in California and the United States.
ACCFB’s “Food Now” program connects low-bandwidth mobile users with critical CalFresh food assistance resources, distributing millions of healthy meals annually.
Kanopi Studios, a WP Engine Strategic Agency Partner, led a full-site redesign and rebuild using headless WordPress with Faust.js, Next.js, and WPGraphQL.
No matter what stage you are in with your site, Kanopi can meet you there.
Food Now needed to refresh its online presence to help people easily access healthy food, requiring a flexible front end that preserved existing CRM integrations while delivering fast, reliable performance for low-bandwidth mobile users who depend most on its resources.
Kanopi Studios built the rebuild on WP Engine’s Headless Platform with Faust.js, Next.js, and WPGraphQL, scaffolding the project’s infrastructure for both speed and future flexibility.
Alongside the growth in new users (100%) and sessions (89%), pageviews also climbed significantly, by 54%—-a sign that Food Now’s redesigned experience is reaching and holding onto more of the community members who need it.
