Founded by Wieden+Kennedy veteran Jason Bagley, the Audacious School of Astonishing Pursuits (ASAP) set out to build a leading coaching and mentorship program for advertising professionals, making the industry more approachable.
ED., a WP Engine Agency Partner, built each section of the site as a WordPress Gutenberg block in React, sharing code between the front end and back end.

The ChallengeMaking advertising feel approachable
Jason Bagley wanted to build a leading coaching and mentorship program for advertising professionals, one that felt approachable rather than intimidating.

The SolutionA Brand that spoofs Its own industry
ED. positioned the brand as a mix of sharp thinking and intentional absurdity. The site uses WordPress Gutenberg blocks in React so ASAP’s team can have a visual editing experience. The unique web experience was nominated for a Webby Award in the Weird category.
We built each section of the site as a WordPress Gutenberg block in React with shared code between the front end and the back end.
